出生於彰化這個純樸的縣市，
由於家人罹癌的經歷決心鑽研芳療，
並不辭勞苦在繁忙的醫師職業生涯中抽出假日時間，
歷經一年多的完整訓練，
完成六十個精油按摩個案、
超過五千字含專業報表的商業經營論文、
超過八千字具實證醫學的專業芳療理論研究論文，
並順利完成按摩實作手技考試、
芳療理論考試，
取得IFA英國國際芳療師及格證照，
是全台灣極罕見擁有IFA英國國際芳療師頭銜以及臨床實驗經驗的專業醫師。
著作有社會醫療紀實小說《塵爆卅日》(點選可看書介)，
將艱澀與血淚的八仙粉塵閃燃事件用高潮起伏、白色巨塔的小說文體使讀者更能身歷情境、毫不枯燥，
值得年輕醫學生與想了解當時台灣社會氛圍與醫療困境的讀者閱讀。

- Yu-Jung Wang, Kan-Lin Hsu, Chin-Sung Chang, Chih-Hsing Wu. Interrelationships between romance, life quality, and medical training of female residents. J Chin Med Assoc 2012;75:402-8. 5-Year IF:1.082
The study is the first one focused on romance, marriage, and quality of life of female residents at the same time. The results of our study indicate that female residents work long hours and have poor sleep quality, and that they have limited personal time, especially in the case of ward-care physicians. The high tendency to choose two-physician romances may not be a result of a reluctance to accept partners having other occupations but is more likely due to limitations in the number of friends, lack of time, and work-related stress. Setting duty-hour limitations may provide some benefits that could lead to the development of new romances or the retention of those already in place, and most female residents agreed that starting a new hobby might result in improved opportunities for romance and enhance their quality of life. It is hoped that the results of this research can give a clearer idea of the viewpoints of female physicians, and contribute to a more female-friendly professional medical training program.

The introduction of transnasal esophagoscopy has changed the diagnosis and management for an esophageal foreign body. Transnasal esophagoscopy is a quick and safe procedure that can be performed under local anesthesia. Transnasal esophagoscopy could replace lateral neck X-ray to become the initial screening procedure and a useful treatment for patients with an esophageal foreign body.

We presented an uncommon event of AIR in a patient with a rare congenital anomaly of 9p deletion syndrome. This case provides valuable information about how to safely anesthetize this kind of patients. In patients with the history of elevated CPK levels, avoiding succinylcholine and volatile anesthetics may be helpful to prevent the life-threatening AIR. However, the occurrence of AIR is not so frequent and AIR is usually not the only concern regarding the anesthetic safety for a patient with multiple abnormalities. Therefore, the benefits of using succinylcholine and volatile anesthetics in high-risk patients should outweigh their possible risks. Besides, early diagnosis of rhabdomyolysis is very important to prevent the risk of acute renal failure and other lethal sequelae.
